Jessica Urban started with Simba’s Care in March 2006. She was the first pet sitter hired when Simba’s Care began to expand. She has loved pets her entire life and currently has 2 dogs of her own. Prior to working for Simba’s Care, Jessica worked in the field of retailing. Jess has become so highly in demand that more staff was needed to cover her region!  

Leslie O'Donnell - Ellington, East Windsor and Vernon

Leslie O'Donnell started with Simba’s Care on a part-time basis in April 2006. She has loved animals since the arrival of her first dog when she was 4 years old. She has since owned and loved several dogs and a kitty. Previous to working at Simba’s Care, Leslie worked for 20 years as an adoption social worker and became an adoptive parent herself. She was delighted to become a full-time pet sitter in May 2007.   

Caron Gahr - Enfield

Caron Gahr joined Simba’s Care in the winter of 2006. Caron has been a dog and cat owner for many years and most of her animals have been rescued from shelters. Prior to working for Simba’s Care, Caron worked as a technical report writer. She loves being a full time pet sitter and brings great enthusiasm and affection to every new animal she meets.

Rebecca Whitney - Longmeadow and East Longmeadow, MA

Rebecca Whitney has had a deep love of animals since the arrival of her first pet at the age of five. She now has 3 cats and a Black Labrador Retriever. Prior to joining Simba’s Care, Rebecca worked for many years as a customer service professional. In recent years, she has taken courses in animal communication and she became certified in Advanced Reiki; a gentle, hands-on healing technique, and she enjoys facilitating Animal Reiki for her clients. Rebecca has always wanted to work as an animal care provider.

Sherry Matter - South Windsor and Manchester

For the last 3 years, Sherry has been a professional groomer for cats and  dogs . Previously, she worked with animals in various capacities for many years. Sherry recently joined the staff of Simba's Care. In addition to providing pet sitting services in Manchester and South Windsor, she offers grooming services, by appointment, for clients throughout our service area.
